Hank holds a Master of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology and has been active in the engineering and business development of specialized ocean engineering systems for over 20 years. He has particular expertise in oceanographic instrumentation, surface and subsea platforms and has also worked in the area of an advanced biofouling control systems development and testing. Hank presently supports Teledyne RD Instruments, heading up the companies technical assessment and business activities with the Federal government and associated activities. This work has a large focus on industry participation in emerging federally supported oceanographic initiatives such as the Integrated Ocean Observing System (IOOS) as well as other programs.

Recent Activities:

Hank is an active member of Alliance for Coastal Technologies (ACT) and was the primary organizer and author of the ACT workshop on "Biofouling Prevention Technologies for Coastal Sensors/Sensor Platforms" www.act-us.info/workshops_reports.php
