Susan is the Environmental Program Manager for the BoatU.S. Foundation for Boating Safety and Clean Water. The BoatU.S. Foundation provides safety and environmental education to boaters to help them become safer and better stewards of the areas where they boat. Susan has worked in the environmental field for eight years and has covered a broad range of issues including: renewable energy, energy efficiency, coastal policy, climate change, sustainable tourism, and wastewater treatment. She is an avid sailor and has lived in the Chesapeake Bay watershed for over ten years. Susan holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment.
